Adjacent to the Coast Fork of the Willamette River, on the rolling slopes of Mt. Pisgah, is the Mt. Pisgah Arboretum, a 209-acre living tree museum. There are seven miles of trails winding through oak savanna, dense forests, wildflower meadows and along rivers and water gardens. While exploring the natural beauty of Mt. Pisgah visitors view wildlife such as deer, coyote, foxes, bats, turtles and red-legged frogs, just to name a few. This Arboretum is a fabulous place for bird watching too. There are jays, finches, robins, quails, hawks and many more. The Mt.
